Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of Tailored Folio's websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

The AUP applies to registered users and, where relevant, to Recipients accessing shared Packages.

Tailored is built to help people document, organize, and present real professional experience. It is not a general-purpose file-hosting service, anonymous publishing platform, or unrestricted AI assistant.

1. Intended Use

Tailored is intended for content reasonably connected to professional and career activity, including:

• resumes and career histories;
• professional portfolios and case studies;
• project artifacts and work samples;
• cover letters and job applications;
• professional biographies;
• career reflection and interview preparation;
• descriptions of skills, methods, roles, responsibilities, and accomplishments; and
• appropriately generalized or anonymized descriptions of confidential professional work.

Sensitive subject matter is not automatically prohibited merely because it concerns healthcare, public safety, defense, trust and safety, criminal justice, workplace investigations, cybersecurity, abuse prevention, or another sensitive professional field.

Legitimate professional discussion of such subjects may be permitted when it is lawful, appropriately handled, and reasonably connected to the user's professional work.

2. Prohibited Content and Activity

You may not use the Service to upload, store, generate, request, publish, share, or distribute content or engage in activity described below.

Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation

Prohibited content includes:

• child sexual abuse material;
• sexualized depictions of minors;
• content that facilitates the grooming, trafficking, exploitation, or sexual abuse of minors; or
• instructions intended to evade child-safety detection or legally required reporting.

Tailored may block, quarantine, preserve, and report such material as required by applicable law.

Sexual Exploitation and Pornographic Content

Prohibited content includes:

• pornographic content primarily intended for sexual gratification;
• non-consensual intimate imagery;
• sexual exploitation, trafficking, or coercion; and
• content facilitating sexual abuse.

Limited non-explicit sexual or medical content may be permitted when directly relevant to legitimate professional, healthcare, legal, policy, research, or academic work and handled appropriately.

Violence and Physical Harm

Prohibited content includes:

• credible threats of violence;
• content intended to facilitate murder, assault, kidnapping, terrorism, torture, or other violent wrongdoing;
• instructions materially enabling physical harm; or
• graphic violent material included primarily to glorify, celebrate, encourage, or shock rather than for a legitimate professional purpose.

Weapons, Explosives, and Dangerous Wrongdoing

Prohibited content includes:

• instructions intended to construct, obtain, modify, or use explosives or weapons for unlawful harm;
• operational assistance intended to facilitate violent wrongdoing; or
• instructions intended to evade safety controls or law enforcement in connection with violent activity.

High-level or non-operational discussion may be permitted when reasonably necessary for legitimate professional work.

Malware and Platform Abuse

Prohibited activity includes:

• malware, ransomware, spyware, credential theft, destructive code, or malicious payloads;
• files or instructions designed to exploit Tailored, its users, Recipients, or third-party services;
• unauthorized automated scraping, credential attacks, denial-of-service activity, or abusive automation;
• attempts to bypass file validation, moderation, authentication, access restrictions, rate limits, or other security controls; or
• probing or exploiting the Service without authorization.

Fraud, Deception, and Professional Misrepresentation

Tailored may not be used to fabricate or materially misrepresent professional experience.

Prohibited content includes:

• fabricated employment;
• false degrees, certifications, licenses, or credentials;
• invented clients, projects, roles, responsibilities, or accomplishments;
• forged professional documents;
• impersonation; or
• AI-generated or manually created case studies represented as real work when the underlying work did not occur.

Tailored may help you communicate real experience more clearly. It may not be used to manufacture a fictional career or intentionally deceive an employer, client, recruiter, business partner, or other decision-maker.

Hate, Harassment, and Targeted Abuse

Prohibited content or activity includes:

• credible threats or targeted harassment;
• doxxing;
• coordinated harassment;
• content intended primarily to degrade, intimidate, or abuse a person or protected group; or
• content promoting or supporting violent extremist activity.

Illegal or Exploitative Activity

You may not use Tailored to facilitate or promote unlawful activity, including human trafficking, financial fraud, illegal drug production or distribution, unlawful exploitation, or other conduct that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

Unrelated Bulk Storage

Tailored is not a general cloud drive, media server, archival service, or file-transfer platform.

We may restrict uploads, storage, or activity that has no reasonable connection to professional portfolio, career, or related Tailored functionality.

3. Restricted Content Requiring Additional Care

Some content may be legitimate but require additional safeguards, context, redaction, review, or handling.

Examples include:

• graphic medical imagery;
• documentation of abuse, harassment, or workplace investigations;
• weapons, military, law-enforcement, or security imagery;
• security-vulnerability details;
• confidential client or employer materials;
• regulated records;
• personally identifiable information;
• proprietary product screenshots; or
• material whose professional context is unclear.

Depending on the circumstances, Tailored may permit the content, request a redacted or safer version, quarantine the content for review, limit how it may be published, or decline to process it.

4. Supported File Types

The Service may limit supported file types based on product, security, moderation, or operational requirements.

During the initial release, supported uploads may include PDF documents and JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WEBP images.

Other formats, including DOCX, PPTX, plain-text files, Markdown files, RAW images, TIFF images, executable files, script files, disk images, compressed archives, and password-protected files, may not be supported.

Supported file types may change as the Service evolves.

5. Enforcement

Tailored may use automated systems and limited human review to enforce this AUP.

Depending on severity, confidence, context, account history, and applicable law, we may:

• allow content;
• allow content while recording a safety signal;
• request redaction or replacement;
• block an upload, request, publication, or other action;
• quarantine content pending review;
• restrict access to content;
• remove content;
• limit account features;
• suspend or terminate an account;
• preserve records when required or permitted by law; or
• report information to law enforcement or other authorities when required by law.

Where applicable law requires a report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's CyberTipline or another authority, Tailored will make the required report and preserve associated information as required by law.

We do not disclose detection thresholds, classifier settings, hash information, or other technical details where doing so could reasonably facilitate evasion.

6. Human Review

Automated systems may identify potentially prohibited or restricted material.

Severe, high-confidence, or ambiguous cases may be escalated to a limited number of authorized personnel for review. Access to such material is intended to be role-restricted and logged.

Tailored may minimize human exposure to illegal, graphic, or traumatic content when automated handling or specialized third-party services can reasonably be used instead.

7. Appeals

If you believe content or an account was restricted in error, you may request review by contacting admin@tailoredfolio.com.

An appeal may result in restoration, continued restriction, a request for a redacted or safer version, or no change.

Tailored may decline to restore content that is clearly prohibited, illegal, unsafe to process, or subject to legal preservation or reporting requirements.

8. Your Responsibility for Content

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload, store, process, and share material through Tailored.

Tailored's ability to accept or process content does not establish that:

• you own the content;
• the content is accurate;
• the content is non-confidential;
• disclosure is authorized;
• publication is lawful; or
• redaction or anonymization is complete.

You remain responsible for complying with confidentiality obligations, NDAs, employment agreements, intellectual-property rights, privacy obligations, professional duties, and applicable law.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated as described in the Terms of Service.
